I might be inclined to agree with John Harmon. I've got a copy of Floyd Clymer's Album of Historical Steam Traction Engines. I went all the way through it. Problem is,well one of many problems,a lot of the pictures in that book are of the right hand side of the engines,not the left. About the only engines I can definately say have the round outfit standing behind the smoke stack AND the big tube down the side of the boiler are Case. Advance,Russell,Keck Gonnerman,Baker and Nichols & Shepard,along with a few lesser known had that round outfit on top,but I couldn't find that tube along the boiler on any others.

Today's Featured Article - Product Review: Black Tire Paint - by Staff. I have been fortunate in that two of my tractors have had rear tires that were in great shape when I bought the tractor. My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed.
