Does anyone know where I can get the material (looks somewhat like coarse steel wool)that is in oil bath air cleaners? The tractor I just put sleeves & pistons in had some dust in the tube between the air cleaner and carburetor. someone prior had put what looks like steel wool to replace what was originally in there and it had deteriorated to an oily dirty mush. Am going to look tomorrow into a used cartridge type used on later models of same motor (560 gas)but if I can find a source for the right material It would save the time adapting something else.
