It will pull the planter. We used a 4230 on a 12 row integral vertical fold for years. I know the larger size is prewired for it but not sure about the small-frame 7030 series. A quick look at the model on www.deere.com should tell you pretty quick. It should also have a sticker on the window saying as much. Doubt you can go wrong with it. People tell me to go with the IVT that have had it if available.
