Very nice pics. I have always thought it would be fun if I could somehow travel back in time to those days with modern tractors, combines, and construction equipment. It still amazes me what these people were able to accomplish with little more than shear determination and minimal assistance from animals and equipment of the time. Today we have the tech. and equipment, but the will and determination of folks like those in the pics has turned into passiveness, expecting everything to come to us, without lifting a finger, no sacrifice, or even breaking a sweat to accomplish a goal, such as surviving hard times.
