In my case it took me nearly 2 hours to go about 400 yards. The only machine to pull with was a D5. It almost didn't want to pull the weight in the mud, especially since the first half was uphill. After digging out a pile of dirt that the truck slid into on it's adventure in the wrong direction I finally got to the gravel exit nearly hours after the first rain drop hit the ground.
