Thanks for the replys. Like I posted, it starts easy, idles evenly, but grayish black smoke and the best I can discribe as a steady wooshing or air rushing out of the exhaust stack. New fuel filter, new air filter, no wax or restrictions in those. The shut off works as it should, and as it idles, you can work the throttle and nothing happens, and throttle linkage is working. Guess I will check the pump next. I have not taken the muffler and checked that, but its outside, pouring the rain today, so maybe in the next few days I can get a better look. I need it brought here, but can"t.
