In central Tennessee an early French trader married a local indian girl & he opened up a trading post that became very popular. Business boomed & he was soon too busy with more profitable businesses, meantime she turned out to be a very good trader. Lot of men didn't want to trade with a woman & tried to trade with him but he always refered them to her, shaking his head no & saying "She boss!".
