I'm not sure what the official records are but it seems like we've had close to a foot of rain in the past week or so... several inches yesterday/last night/today. Since 8:30 yesterday evening we've been dealing with 6 flooded basements... running 4 trash pumps, one portable fire pump and one 840 midship pumper. One in particular was making water so fast last night that a 2-1/2" trash pump couldn't lower it... required the 840 with three 2.5" discharges free flowing to get the level down to where the trash pump could hold it. I'd estimate that it was making around 175 gpm at times... At least one more was nearly as bad. So... I had three hours sleep last night along with a few other guys.. and one that went 36 hours straight. I hope to see the sun tomorrow. Have a good Christmas.
