When I have any questions about being legal on the highways in my state (Ohio) I look on line under Gov.com or DOT laws and regulations. Sometimes I have to dig around on there web sites but it always gets me the answers. I have also found it to be helpful to know the laws when dealing with an officer that is unsure or don't know the laws. Good example is weight limit laws. I once had a stark county Ohio deputy sheriff that weighed, inspected trucks and ticketed trucks on a dailey basis tell me I was aloud 80,000 gross with my Dodge one ton with daul wheels and 26 foot 14,000 GVW goose neck when I ask what legal weight limit I was aloud. He said I was a combination vehicle and fell under same weight limit laws and regulations as a semi. Trust me when I say he was way off, not to mention, wrong. But then again he ticketed two guys I know for smoking, (black smoke out of exhaust)they drove diesel pick ups. Judge never heard of such a law so he called it pollution and put fine on it.($170.00 fine)

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
