A friend has a 2005 Chevy Duramax and he is having some coolant issues. He has had to add coolant a few times over the last couple of weeks. His hose is being sucked flat when parked. He said his temp climbs to 210 when driving highway speed but drops to 190 or so when sitting in traffic. He has not noticed any coolant leaks nor does the exhaust smell like coolant. Any ideas what could be going on? I was kind of thinking that there might be air in the system somewhere.
