I kinda like 1010's they are a 430 with a 4 cyl motor,The motor is basically the same size as the 430 only 4 cyl, so it doesn't have much torque. The guys on here are right with a combine motor they are a fine little tractor. A lot better than a 2010. There is no place to start with them. When we decide that a 10 series JD is a antique I'm going to make a puller out of a 1010. Should be completive with those pesky Fords, Allis and IHC in the 3500 to 4000 lbs. class
