Doesnt sound all that inhumane to me.Smoke kills more people than fire.If sleepimg/hibernating the chucks probably wouldnt even wake up before they were overcome,Alot of fire victims never even make it out of their beds..Seems a lot less painful than a poorly placed shot. I agree with the other statement of how will you know which burrow is occupied? Jusy my opinion.Bill M.
p.s. I done them in with everything from smoke to gasoline to bullets,even a fencepost once,although my brother-inlaw has me beat,he uses bow and arrow.
