I have been watching these YT Band posts with great interest/amusement. I wish I had the skills/software to put together some sort of composite video.
I toss this out kind of hoping someone else will pick it up and run with it if they are so inclined. It would be awfully fun to get everybody interested to record "tracks" of the same song and have somebody edit it and put it together, given the time of year I would think a carol of some sort would be nice. Could be serious or silly depending on the whims of whoever volunteers to do it. I know we have enough variety of instruments to get most everything covered. Vocalists could do backup parts/lead as they like. I have no idea what would be required for editing software and what formats the various "parts" would need to be recorded or converted to, but we have so many skills represented here I am sure somebody could probably take the lead and do this.
