Roy I must say I was never much for competition ,unless it was against MY SELF. I will say that No matter how good one thinks he or she is, around the corner, over the mountain ,there is some one better.I have known better players then me,and what I"ve learned is that they were devoted to their art. WIlling to share their talent and knowledge is where it"s at. Most are gone now and I"m left with no one to teach me what I"ve been missing all these years. Don"t mean to get HEAVY but My time in the music field is well passed.LIke you, I"m self taught since age 3 and again like you , I don"t read (what you call)chicken scratching. lol. I kind of chaneled my remaining time to tractors and crawlers. My son and I have such a great relationship .that we share information about lots of things. However I do want you to know I talk the talk, walk the walk when it comes to music, with my observations in players, artists, if you will. What you do Is certainly well worth displaying.
