Fed Chairman Bernanke's interview on 60 Minutes last Sunday did nothing to convince me anything was going to improve anytime soon. It was what he did NOT talk about that really worried me. Did not hear any mention of the Federal budget deficit, exports, or manufacturing growth. I took enough Economics courses in college to know regardless of what system was discussed a government deficit was going to impact the picture at some point. He was like a parent explaining to a young child that he very well is not likely to get that nice gift that the child wanted for Christmas but yet will not bluntly say the kid will not.
