Windows Live Mail that comes with Windows 7 is what is on my new laptop.
That "message rules" is where your computer can be custom tailored to send any mail into any folder. If the boxes are blank, then that's not your problem.
Microsoft offers Windows Mail (took the place of Outlook Express) for people who'd rather have it with Windows 7 instead of Live Mail. I've got two Windows 7 machines here. One has Live Mail and the othe Windows Mail ver. 6. Both work fine with POP 3 accounts.
