I've got one tree that bears good, several others coming along. squirrels beat me out of the pecans this year. I bought two pecan pickers at a rummage sale last summer, designed to pick up pecans off the ground. I have thrown a rope over the limbs as high as I can get them and then shook the lilmbs to dislodge the pecans. Two years ago I got 27 pounds that way. I might have two this year.
