It has been 20+ years ago, but I can remember a local farmer being robbed when he was out plowing. I forget all the details, but he was plowing, Cab tractor IIRC, and one or more people came out in the field, got him to stop, and robbed him af a fairly large sum of cash. He had a reputation of carrying large sums of money.
Had he known their intent, I am sure he could have stayed in the tractor and had the upper hand.. Having a weapon is not a bad idea..
