Great job. I expect I would have gone ahead and made the horse a single color though, perhaps red racing stripes.
I've photographed a few horses for my uncle in decades past as he needed the photos to get the thoroughbreds properly registered or listed or whatever. He finally switched to raising quarter horses as there was so little demand for the thoroughbreds in our area of the country.
His most notable horse was Plowshare, a horse the Army acquired.
