Don't know where you're at but here the permit doesn't allow you to remove it from your body and leave it in your vehicle. I never go in bars and I don't drink. The only place I would take a gun is out in the woods or when I'm fishing. Was approached by 3 guys when I was fishing 3 years ago. Got a little nervous then but everything turned out ok. I can appreciate both sides of this issue and if my health continues to get worse I may consider getting a permit in the future.
