Unless you got them from a person not a store that is not true. ATF does in fact keep paper work on each and every gun as does the place that sells them. Reason I know is I know of 3 places local that have lost there FFL because of not having all there paper work as it should have been. One lost it because a guy did not sign his paper work and the guy is now dead. The store owner was told if he got the paper work signed he could keep his FFL but when he told them the guy was dead they said that does not matter get it signed
