That's the way to do it, change every 2 years. Then you get the newbie discounts and promotions the long time customers never get. Had Direct since '96, it worked. Went to Dish last year to get the newbie deals. It was about $30 a month cheaper than Direct. When this 2 year contract runs out, I'll see what Direct is offering.
Other thing I found is to go directly to the supplier and bypass all the resellers you see running ads everywhere. I got stuff from Dish that the resellers couldn't match.
