We have Dish tv. It's OK. My in-laws tried Direct but were very unhappy with them so they switched. We had rabbit ears for many years until the switch in broadcasting so had to make a choice. With rabbit ears, we had 4 channels of nothing fit to watch. Now, we have 400 channels of nothing fit to watch! But we do have the off button we use a lot. Worst part of any satellite tv is when weather is bad and you are watching local station tracking and the receiver looses input. Now you are stuck wondering where the storm is.
