Id say it will handle a 12 foot fine but if a good deal happened by of only a 10 or 11 foot I wouldnt be ashamed to drag it throught the field in a higher gear (not so fast to leave ridges though). Of course, the type of soil and depth and blade condition and weight are all factors. Its also a traction question, a set of duals and a 12 foot would do a good job mmmmmmm mmmmmm. I liked using those smaller size of outrigger blades on the outside rears and the shovel in the middle to even out the field and if one drug a harrow of some sort behind the disk now that reallyyyyyyyyyy made for a pretty job of disking.......
