I've hauled a couple of tractors that were too wide for a car trailer by putting them on from the front. Lower the trailer so the tongue is on the ground, then remove the jack. Block up the front corners of the trailer to keep the hitch from getting pushed into the dirt when you load. Put the ramps up the front, and drive the tractor on so the front wheels go between the trailer fenders, and the back wheels just touch the front of the trailer fenders. Put the jack back on, raise the tongue, and away you go. The weight distribution will be just about right, too. Its easier than moving the back wheels in on most old tractors, and certainly easier than removing trailer fenders if their welded on, like mine!
