Is it down by the clock on the Screen?. If so you should be able to make it go away if you go to Ctrl+alt+del and then go to processes. Look for comething that resembles McAfee in the 'Image Name' column, click it and click End Process at bottom of window.Should disappear right away. Some programs are real presistent and will open them selves back up almost right away. If that's the case you may be able of get rid for good through 'Program access and defaults' which is located below control panel in the start menu.AT the top left side of that program you will see an add or remove programs button. Click it and see if you can find this McAfee program. Be careful here if you anti-virus program is McAfee though cause you may delete it instead.. If non of that works that's usually when I delete Windows and re-install it again. I don't know how else to do it and my computer usually need a wipe by then anyways. Mind you I gotta save all pics and songs to a usb flash drive cause once windows is gone it ain't coming back. Good luck getting that fixed.
