Take the pump off and drop a hex nut on a string down to measure water rise in well first. If none then do as others advise but I really don't think that's your problem. I believe it is either your pump / fittings or the casing may be leaking air in which case you need to put down a smaller than casing drop pipe and hook your pump to that. You didn't say what size the pipe/casing was or if you had a drop/draw pipe inside it. Most don't. Let us know what you find.
