I did the zip-tie trick that someone suggested for my distributer cap, and it didn't start. After getting the old cap out and looking at it, turns out I had the wires all 1 lug off. The old one had #1 marked where as the new one didn't, but the vent I used as reference is in a different spot on the new cap. I moved all of the wires ahead 1 lug and she fired right up.
Took it for a spin around the block and can already tell that it's just a little bit smoother. Gonna get pellets tomorrow (about 80 mile round trip) and I'll be able to see how much of a difference it makes.
