I am working on my newest addition to my snow movers right now. My IH1066 has a cab, but tired of roading it in the cold and dark where it needs to be.
It is a 1991 Dodge 150 4x4, short box with 8 ft Meyer low. Bought it for $1000 knowing it needs some work, as follows: Water pump, 3 of the brake lines (I won't tolerate wet/seeping lines), one parking light is out.
Otherwise everything else is ready to move snow. Someday I will fix the speedometer, it and the radio are dead.
Bodywise, it is bubbled above the rear tires and just coming through. Only other rusted out spot is in the drivers door. I really don't care what it looks like this winter, plan to scuff it down this spring, grind the rust out, pop rivet in new metal where needed, and paint it white on the lower body panels. Am going to leave the rest of it alone. DOUG
