I can't say I ever saw a real garden tractor made by Springfield, but they sold riding mowers 1950s-1960s. I kind of stopped paying attention though when the 1970s came around. Too modern for my interest. I worked for a tractor dealer in 1970.
Quick Manf. Inc.,3361 Limestone Street, Springfield Ohio sold a 2-wheel tractor in 1949, called the model 2001E. Had a 1.5 horse Clinton engine. In 1952, they sold some bigger two-wheelers up to 3 horse. Their first rider-mower came out in 1957.
In 1958, a four-horse riding tractor came out. They also sold some trailing, self-powered rotary mowers.
