One of the BEST things I ever did was to have the home phone removed. Since incoming calls use up cell phone minutes, politicians are not allowed to call cell phone numbers. Since I switched from dial-up internet to cable broadband, and since I already had a cell phone, I'm actually saving money by NOT having a home phone. The fct that I'm also immune from political calls is a bonus that is...[wait for it]...priceless.
