I would not recommend that anyone buy one of these with the 24sp. A very good friend of mine bought one new. He still had it. It only has 3600 hrs on it and the trans has been "fixed" twice. The last time I did it for him and the parts where pocket change under $10,000. The gasket set was $850. They are bad about the clutch pack starting to leak by the slip ring seals. Unless you stop real quick the high pressure oil will grove the housing. That is a $3900 part. You will not find a good used one. We tried to have them built up and re-machined and it would not hold. There was a local MF dealer the sold several of these tractor around here. All of them have been bad news for the owners. The older MF 1135 and 1155 where not too bad of tractors to use and own. The MF 2745 cured that.
