Same deal here, except that since the dog passed on, SWMBO takes the meat scraps down to the shore and feeds the seagulls.
Most other food scraps to the chickens, and everything else to the compost pile. We recycle everything they'll take curbside as well. Garbage man only has to stop here every other week and then it's rarely more than two bags and often only one.
Can't beat home-grown eggs, can ya? I used to free-range my birds all day, but the fox population has gotten so out of hand here they were nabbing them in broad daylight so I had to fence them in. They are NOT happy about that.
