I usually only plant a few things in the fall. This year I planted green beans squash, summer and winter, watermellons, corn tomatoes cucumbers and cantelope. Wife picked a half bushel of very nice green beans yesterday. The sweet corn is ready and the mellons ripe but we had a frost last night and killed it all. This is the earliest that I can remember a heavy frost here in central Texas.
