I had the proofmeter on a late model Ford 2000 repaired once. Tach worked but the hours had quit. I looked in the yellow pages for speedometer and found a place here in Minneapolis who said they could probably fix it. They ended up having to send it to California somewhere. It came back about 3 weeks later and looked brand new and worked perfect. Cost was $150 IIRC. Could have bought a new one off ebay for about the same money but it was nice to have the original and not the plastic china made.
