I bypassed the ignition switch by using a toggle switch and a push button for the starter. That still has not solved my problem. I am getting 8 volts at the wire going to the solenoid even though it is cut from the ignition and routed through the push button. There must be another relay or something inbetween that is shorting it out. Can anyone help out please?! My truck uses too much gas and needs repairs also so I need to get this car running ASAP so I can keep going to work.
