My Continental spec charts show just about all their gas engines available with standard and optional compression ratios. An all-fuel engine would need a ratio at approx. 5 to 1, or less.
It shows the N62 available with only two optional choices.
Standard is 6.4 to 1. Two options are 4.1 to 1, and 5.4 to 1.
The chart also states that all these changes are done with different cylinder heads - NOT pistons.
I have an all-fuel Y62 Continental sitting in my barn. I have no idea what makes it different from an N62, but it's a power-unit and not in a tractor.
