I will agree with you in that a pump works better pushing than pulling. But I have an 03 common rail cummins, if the pump on the back of the fuel filter goes bad will it ruin my high pressure pump? Plus its alot easier to replace the pump on the back of the fuel filter base than an in tank pump.
