I use craigs list - ebay - YT to buy and sell with no problems. I will except bank checks or money orders but nothing leaves my property till my bank verifies it is good and totaly clear. "BUT" I prefer cash. I WILL NOT SELL OUT OF THE USA. As for distance I have found buying or selling sometimes you just can't find what as buyer wants close to area. I live in Ohio and sold more tractors out of state then in ohio and as far away as Mississippi. I know one gentleman that lives in MI. and bought a tractor from Mississippi and paid me to go get it, buyer and seller never met. I have bought tractors myself and went a long way to get them. Also bought one, had it hauled to me and never met the seller, paid for by check. I always give my name, phone number, email address, and home address so that buyer or seller is comfortable with me and knows I'm not trying to pull anything. BUT BUT BUT I want the same from who I'm dealing with and I don't give NOTHING out if it even smells a little fishy. As a buyer or seller I move with caution but I don't get all paranoid, if the deal is on the up and up people will give info.
