Well, i'm not a Dr. of Psychiatry, but i like red pickups, although i did repaint a 1984 Ranger truck i had, from white to Hugger orange! Some folks like blue cars or trucks, and some like other colors. some folks who have had problems with a green car, probably won't replace it with another make of green car, even if it is cheaper in price! By that line of thinking, if your father had problems with one make of tractor, or had heard from somebody else, that they had problems with that brand, then your dad would stay away from them! Back around 1980. i had a '70 GMC half-ton truck, color Hugger Orange. I liked the color, so i painted the Ranger. Most everybody thought i was nuts, but i had to drive it. It turned heads!
