Used to work for ARCO. They kept downsizing. I had been assigned two full time jobs to accomplish in 8 hrs, no OT. Did my best for a over 2 yrs to get the work done. Finally, I was fried to the bone. They offered a severance package and I said, put my name at the top of the list. I promised myself I would never let myself get worn down to that point ever again.
James and I talked it over this evening. If either of us get laid off, we won"t be job hunting in Dallas. The job hunting will be in E. Tx even if we wind up being "door greeters" at Walmart.
