i remember that winter to well i missed at least 1 day of work a week because of weather. the fall of 78 i helped a man harvest corn. we finished corn in in a heavy snow strom we were only ones to combine in that area that day no one was able to do anything in the feilds until the the spring of 79. Alfred said that morning when we started today we are going to go until the corn is out of the feild as i think this is going to be a rough winter. the next day i got a job in a cheese factory for the winter
