I have mowed with one of those woods mower for over ten years under a B Allis Chalmers. More than once I have been looking right when I should have been looking left and caught a fence post that stopped the tractors forward movement with a rear tire spinning. The only thing that was hurt was me from the sudden stop which only lasted a coupla minutes. He aint gonna damage that mower using it like that. Woods didn't build them out of tin like lawn mowers. I have used mine for years to mulch the manure I haul on my hay fields so as not to feed it back. I bought my Woods mower used and after 10 years I just replaced all the spindle bearings because one had started to whine. Back like new again. Kinda tickles me to see advise about things that just prove the person giving the advise has no idea of how the thing they are giving advise on is built or works.
