Great pictures. I went on Sunday & spent a lot of time by the Gehl tent. That self propelled chopper was quite interesting. The #48 chopper was done up well also. We always called that the "Whirling instrument of death" when we were young. Herb really puts a lot of work into this show with all of the machinery he brings. We like to call it "Herbfest".

In July of 1998 I was talking to fellow Allis Chalmers collector Mike Schilling about the annual "Gathering of The Orange" AC show coming up in August of 1999. He got this wild idea that we should get a convoy of AC tractors and drive them from Charlotte, Michigan 105 miles to LaGrange, Indiana.
