For some reason I treat my tractors better than my pick up and wifes van. I think it has to do with the fact that tractors seem like they can go on forever, yet cars eventually become a money pit if you want to keep them going. Looking at my machinery actually makes me happy so I do more for them than regular vehicles. Most older tractors seem like they can rebuilt over and over again as long as you have the time to find the parts at a price you are willing pay. The other day I pulled a 36 ft packer with my 706 and enjoyed the job the whole time. Can't say the same about going to the store or work with my truck though. If you treat your tractor well it will last as long as you do.
