In some states, including the peoples' republic of Oregon, it is a felony to hide a car or truck from being reposessed. When they came to my mother-in-laws' house they told her either they got my brother-in-law's truck that night or the next day there would be a warrant out for his arrest. By the way, I only pay cash for cars.
