I haven't heard of a vintage snowmobile gathering before. Sounds neat. I have a '72 Polaris Mustang, one-eyed with the 2-lunger, hiding in storage. It was my Grandpa's that he bought after retiring at A.O. Smith the same year. He used it to put-put around the farm. It's seen a trail once or twice. There's just a little over 150 mi. on it. Great sled! Blue & white with a red metal flake seat. Classic! I can't ride it much as I have a bad back & the sled has a fixed bogey. Once around the farm, twice a winter & a start up in the summer is all the workout it sees. The cover is original yet & the dolly was made for my Grandpa by my uncle. (I don't mean to come off as tooting my own horn. There haven't been too many opportunities for me to talk snow machines anymore).
If you could get some pics of the tractor, when you go, that'd be great. I'd like to see some of the old sled show, too.
