I went to an auction today and got a 15' aluminum canoe made by Michi Craft, which is a company I have never heard of before. It is very well made and I am happy to have a canoe again. We had one in Maine but we've been gone nine years. We took it to the reservoir and paddled around for a bit this evening. I'm wondering if anyone in Michigan has heard of the company and knows if the canoes are still made there or if they've been outsourced, and also how long the company has been around. I got the canoe for $120 plus the buyer's premium and sales tax, so it was a good deal. I had expected to get priced out on it, but I guess nobody there wanted it very badly. Zach
