I suppose it depends on the building and what you're going to use it for. Those coolers are used at the Experimental Aircraft Association airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to cool down tents and open-sided buildings. Now Oshkosh in July is nothing like Florida, but it is quite humid. If your building is open so you get lots of ventilation they might work. But forget about using a swamp cooler on a closed building in Florida.
