And how exactly are you supposed to know who's connected? Maybe they'd be connected with the other sides lawyers? Call a few lawyers who specialize in this type of thing and you can usually get a good idea if an attorney is any good within the first few things he says. I think most major cities have a lawyer referral service that is free. Up here they give the names of 3 lawyers that specialize in the area of law you need. A good lawyer might be able to get the case against you dropped with a simple letter and/or a phone call once he has all the details. Initial consultations are usually free. Dave
